The Merrier Times - @The Leela, Mumbai!

Life is a beautiful luxury and its magic lays in the the exploration in a candid manner. There is awesomeness that stays etched in the memories forever and goes long way stay in the memories imbibed of the trip. Also, one can, if not forever, for sometimes be lost in the beauty of the wanderings that one takes, which takes place as a result of the beauty served, created, nurtured, and welcomed at the appropriate time.
The beauty of my business trip came with my comfortable and elite stay at "The Leela, Mumbai". There is a complete feel which I received by being there at the Mumbai's only resort business style hotel. The two nights- three day stay at the hotel was a complete tour in itself offering world class luxury, work commitments, relaxation, fine- dining, and the varied spa options.
The hospitality received and the superlative services have been high-marked amongst all the facilities. On the dining table, the best one that comforted my taste buds was Jamavar, the signature restaurant followed by The Great Wall that offered Chinese specialities in the menu. The services were beyond expectations, each time, with all pleasure and regard, the experience of goodness multiplied.
On a visit to Mumbai, stay at The Leela is the highlight of the tour, and each time they exceed all the expectations. The experience of each stay has been highly mesmerising and amazing beyond comparisons.
Mark Twain once said that travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Thus, keeping into mind this thought, and taking advantage of the time and opportunity, I went ahead on my business- tour to explore the luxury of my stay at the hotel. I started to pay attention to the details, like the paintings placed, the aura of the place, the greenery, the cuisines at the restaurants, the pool side, and the music that the environment had to offer me.
The most soothing experience for anyone who is looking for frayed or stressed out nerves, the way forward to relax and comfort oneself, was through the silence, that is impenetrably wonderful. It is said that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but at The Leela- Mumbai, the beauty was offered that was so soothing to the receiver.
It is indeed a wonderful and new experience each time I am in Mumbai, that this place has to offer in the time-packed schedules.

And the last hug story! #HugYourDad!

He did not respond, only clung harder to my embrace, and I held him with all the afflictions of a man torn by love. What a miracle he was, what a truly exquisite paragon of beauty and virtue so incredibly combined, whom everyone embraced so dearly. In that moment I did not care who won, if only it would end and I could be with him. I accepted the whole responsibility of defeat if I had to, if only it meant a life with him by my side. I just wanted him, needed him. As simply and clearly as one needs food and oxygen and light, I needed him in my life.
My dad was my best friend and greatest role model. He was an amazing dad, coach, mentor, business expert, husband and friend. He fulfilled all of his holes with great responsibilities and the aura that resided with him was beyond the words of expression. I could even confess that I am rather falling short of words to the amazement of the personality he had been and that is what I have been missing. Thinking of the last hug that we shared only makes me stronger for he asked me to be a responsible man and not to shudder upon anything that would make anyone look down.
A hug from him and that would make my day. Even as I grew older, I was so used to it, lest a day did not start had I not hugged him. Hugs were the best gift me and father shared as a ritual everyday, that was the beauty of our father- son bond and relationship. It cannot ever get better than this, at least for me in this lifetime.
And then one fine day, when he could not, I could do it. The old age had hit him. He maintained a healthy lifestyle though. Day by day, he shrunken in his last days. The last memories that I have of him hugging me are when I held him, instead of him holding me, and all I wanted at that moment was to have it back the other way. It was tough and the confidence in me dwindled away for few seconds and the hug from him asked me to be a stronger and a brave man to face the realities of life with courage, and the other moment holding my tears in my eyes, it was to see him parting from me, for forever.

#HugYourDad - Missing his dear presence!

Happy Father's Day, dad. I miss your physical presence here.
Coming to quote and cite the beauty of those beautiful and mesmerising days, I suddenly remember the times of being very little and being embraced, loved and hugged by my father. I would try to put my arms around my father's waist, hug him back. Well, I am not sad and raising a toast to those amazing memories, I would narrate it down further of the gracious moments that are and will forever be a part of my mind, body and soul.
What I remember is that I could never reach the whole way around the equator of his body; and it was funny to have played and tickle him on his body all throughout my childhood and teenage days and even later. Also, I stood to quote the above instance to state a fact that he was that much larger than life, apart from the girth of his tummy. It was that amazing to have him around, his glittering aura that radiated nothing but the optimism throughout the journey of his life.
And then one fine day, I could do it. He was shrunken in his last days.
He did not respond, only clung harder to my embrace, and I held him with all the afflictions of a man torn by love. What a miracle he was, what a truly exquisite paragon of beauty and virtue so incredibly combined. In that moment I did not care who won, if only it would end and I could be with him. I accepted the whole responsibility of defeat if I had to, if only it meant a life with him by my side. I just wanted him, needed him. As simply and clearly as one needs food and oxygen and light, I needed him in my life.
When it comes to Father's Day each year, I shall always remember my dad for all the things, for being there to nurture me in the most amazing and splendid manner; and also for the times and tides he gave me on my own to cultivate my own interests and to nurture my own spirit, developing into a man that I am today.

Celebrating each moment of Life!

Celebrations are beauty and blessing in the life of an individual and one in the course of lifetime should learn the art of cherishing and relinquishing the best things that have been bestowed upon him/ her. It is important for a person to come to realize that every moment is precious and one must enjoy and live them in the best possible manner and go on to create memories which are a joy of lifetime.

The things that have become so precious and a part of me that I celebrate and live each moment with them are my kids and my parents, and also my beloved better half, my wife. They have come to occupy an immense place in my life and no other thing would ever go on to replace them. I consider all of them as a great blessing bestowed upon me by Almighty. I wish to always see them happy and smiling with glory and success to be with them at all steps in life. Any pain of theirs should be migrated and transferred to me and I shall accept them valour.

My parents have always looked after me in the best possible manner and they have been with me in all my ups and downs. I love to be with them in all the moments of my life and to celebrate being with them is a great pleasure for me. I share my happiness and concerns with them and probably they have a better idea and experience of life, which they pass on to me.

My children have been the source of fun and excitement in my life. They vanish away any sort of pain that is in me due to any stress or any problem of life. They know how to bring smiles closer to me and everyone in the family. It is a pure delight to have them around. Their naughty behaviour attracts the attention of everyone in the family and everyone enjoys their company.

My beloved wife is one of the most precious gems of my life. She stands beside me in all the situations of my life. She has sacrificed a lot in her life to step along with me and I salute her for that. The way she has brought up my kids and looks after my parents in a great manner is something she has won me on. She has understood me in the worst of times and held me strongly in times of distress.

These people have come to take the place of everything else in life and I love to be in their company to celebrate each moment of my life. They are the source of all of my happiness and joys.

Starting a new life!

It is important that one takes up a bold step in life and stands out differently and victorious in life. This comes with a positive attitude in life and also when one decides to take things ahead with firm determination and strength. This comes by making the essential changes in life and taking up bold steps which might change things forever.

The bold steps taken in life might seem to be riskier at first step but they are definitely bond to teach a lot of things in life and also the most important lessons of life are learnt through the risks that we come to take in life. These steps might take us to great heights and make us stand at a point where we want and wish to see ourselves in life.

There have been times when I have made an attempt to take the small steps in life and in most of the cases they have turned out to be fruitful. Also, when there had been failure from the chance I took, it was an important lesson learning experience where I got to learn from the failures.

The time that I am going to tell here that taught me to be bold, strong and determined in my actions was when I was 15 years old and my father had to see the separation from his brothers due to family disputes and he stood alone to feed seven mouths in the family, without having a single penny at his disposal.

Initially I did not understand the criticality of the situation. Also, my father was strong enough to not let us know of the situation and keep my mother and my siblings in the comfort zone. Just in two days, I could sense the whole situation. I decided to go with my father and help him with his work. He scolded me so much and even raised his hands for the first time in life, asking me to go back and continue with my studies.

I did not let that affect me, and decided to give up on my studies, because it was getting difficult with each passing day. I went to school for just 2 days in a week. My attendance started seeing the lowest possible marks in the school. Also, my performance in the tests started declining. But I was determined to make both the ends of my family meet.

One fine day, I convinced my father about my decision. He hugged me and decided me to teach the business lessons right from that day. He did not talk to me for quite a long time, but I finally could make up mind regarding my decision.

Within no time, things began to change with the hard labour of my father and with the assistance that I gave to my father. We started reaching new heights with every passing day.

This was one bold step that I took which changed the life of mine and my family. By God’s grace everything is so well till date and I am grateful that I could take that chance in life at that time, which served my family.

The importance of optimism

There are lots of moments in life when we are taught of the important lessons of life. We should not give up hopes and must look forward to fight the tough situations in life with courage. This would ultimately help in attaining the wisdom and lead us towards something great in life.
The lessons of optimism are very important in life. They hold a lot of significance in life. There are so many reasons which teach us that positive thoughts in life take us to new heights and wisdom.. Life is a great blessing and we must live it peacefully and blissfully.
There have been several instances in life when optimism has come to play a great role in my life. I would love to narrate one of them that inspired me to look up in life with positive attitude even in the tough and difficult phases of life. It is important or everyone to learn these lessons as this makes life seem easy, comfortable and colourful. In this way the tough situations in life fade away and great moments begin to flourish after the testing moments.
The story that I am going to narrate is from my teenage days. I was 13 years old when my father was separated from his brothers and did not have a penny to have his next meal served. Though I did not understand much but I could see the fears and tears in my parents eyes. They were worried of how the things would go on now and how they would make things better for everyone in the family.
My mother gave her gold bangles to my father to sell them off and get the money to feed us. My father was reluctant to put my mother's jewellery on stake and instead decided to go out for work and earn the living. We had never seen and witnessed such situation, but this is life where you never know what you might get to face.
I decided to go along with my father. After lot of insisting, he agreed to take me along. I had never seen him work so hard as earlier the grandfather's business was well established and it was being run by my dad and his siblings. The time was too tough for my father. Life was testing him quite immensely.
On our way back, my father initiated a conversation and he asked me to be strong and not to be affected by all such situations as these are the testing times and told to be optimistic and hopeful about life in all the situations. We should not give up on our principles, hopes and desires. Enough amount of efforts must be put in order to face the obstacles and stand tall in life.
That was one day, that made me to grow in my heads and helped in learning an important lesson of life. I decided to be positive all the time. May be that time I might not have understood much, but that was a life changing day as I began to observe and learn things differently from that day on.
